Have you ever watched a crew take a tree down?  If you haven’t – you should definitely put it on your bucket list.  It is wild!  Those guys that hang up in the tree with a chainsaw have some serious cojones! We lost our beautiful 100+ year tulip poplar in 2011.  It was massive. Thankfully we caught it before it fell and caused serious damage.  Right before we were leaving on a two-week overseas vacation, we noticed the tree had moved after a terrible storm.  Thankfully our fabulous neighbors handled it for us.  I don’t think I could have stomached watching it come down.  It took them two days, a street closure and a huge crane. I miss that tree.  The kids figured out a practical way to use it in the summer heat. On the rear side of our house we had a spindly old elm.  We treated it in 2003 when we moved in, and then again in 2010 when our neighbor moved in.  Sadly, it...
