We’re already at the six month mark.

Fast forward 6 months. It has been a whirlwind. And so much has happened. We finished another renovation. Opened two new businesses. I had back surgery. And we are still standing.

We love our home. There is nothing we would change. We have enjoyed many days and nights on our back porch. (The swing bed is divine!) We have our own little vacation –  right in our own home.

From waking up in the most comfortable bedroom, to bathing in a light-soaked bathroom, to getting ready in a great dressing room – all while listening to music pour through the house – it is fabulous.

I’ll fill you in on what’s happened since we’ve moved in. From Thanksgiving to 1/1/15 we had SIX major parties. Thanksgiving, tour of homes, street Christmas party, Christmas, barn party and a New Year’s Day open house. Then on 1/5/15 I opened my real estate brokerage, Intown Expert Realty.

Because our office building was behind, we spent the first two months working around my dining room table. Then it came time to have the back surgery I had been putting off. My recovery time showed me how utterly exhausted I was. I think I literally slept – and watched 5 seasons of Downton Abbey – for two weeks. When it was time to come back to work we were ready to move into our new offices at our newly renovated Berthold Building.

Here’s a 3-D tour of the office space we renovated.

What a wild ride it has been.

Now that the dust has settled and we are settling into our new space – we are appreciating it so much. Our thoughtfulness and planning of every little detail that we knew what we wanted – and of the items that we knew we needed to change –  has proved invaluable. Our wonderful and talented team that made this a reality – we are so grateful. We love it and would not change a thing. Thank you!

P.S. – I have had a lot of folks ask me about this process.  I am so happy to share what we learned during both projects. If you have a question – please ask  – I’m happy to share our story.
